Very easy to avoid the temptation for these idiots.

Test at the border on entry.

Suppress & mitigate spread not eradicate.

Interesting to note Public Health England’s C19 mortality figures have been massively skewed in recent months including those who had Covid 28 days (and in many cases a lot longer) before passing away. In other words, they were dying anyway & the virus did not contribute to their demise.

Had the opportunity to speak with a couple of gents at the airport a couple of days ago who fly in from the UK to work.

Tested on arrival & in work for 10am following their result, then on their way if negative.

The only thing stopping us moving to testing is fear of the public backlash from the Covid crazies.

But there lies the rub.

We could be living like this for potentially years unless border testing is implemented.

We are yet to hear from Quayle & Co how they plan to get us moving again unless a vaccine is found.

It is (as someone else mentioned) a cobbled together, wait and see what other jurisdictions do, before we pretend we’ve formulated a progressive & original reopening strategy.

No wonder he canned the press briefings!

64-year-old pleads guilty to breaking quarantine

A man in his sixties has been sentenced to six weeks in custody for failing to self isolate.

According to police, the 64-year-old appeared in court and pleaded guilty to the charge.

Officers have used this example alongside a plea for people to follow the rules as "the best defence [the Island has] against the Covid virus".

What is this total bollox?

How to fluff out a scant report. This isn't even tautology, it's just repetition. At least 3fm thought of using the word 'pensioner', even though it was wrong.

How is this an example? No, not being fucking nosey, just we need to know.

Who is the guy? Where does he live? What were the circumstances?

From what I’ve heard the perp is a somewhat “difficult” character and the reasons for not naming will become clear at some stage.

Apologies if this is the case, but even so, the circumstances etc need to be known

And even though the Isle of Man practices effectively secret/parallel laws and courts (yes John boy, it does) it has to be a rare occurrence to withhold a name.
