So someone with underlying health conditions that may have got flue or a severe cold to make deteriorate their condition have been protected by shielding, lockdown and improved personal hygiene, Many colds and Flu are circulated by air travel, train travel, airports and stations not to mention hotels. Between Sept/Mar every year it does the rounds (at least) two to three times. I reckon the attention to hand-washing has seen it off this year.
