The white and black propaganda departments certainly seem pretty well staffed. Maybe they forgot to employ someone to announce unspun news? Bill Shimmins this afternoon, basically said that while he agreed with the content of the roadmap the way it was presented was too long, too confusing, and simply not good enough. He went on to suggest that such communications be outsourced in future.

bonatti
Now is the time to move to mitigation. They need to stop announcing how many cases there are because it really doesn't matter. What they should be doing is telling people that covid is now in the community and you should make your own decisions on how you want to deal with it. And make it very clear. Track and trace continue to operate to try and reduce spread, but the fact is we have not really been exposed to it over here so it is going to spread very quickly, especially amongst the younger generation. We are never going to get away from that, and lockdowns are just delaying the inevitable.

When you think at the last outbreak there were around 1500 confirmed cases you have to think there were a lot more that weren't caught. I've been saying for a while stop announcing cases etc we get back to normal quicker

Around 74,000 people were admitted to hospitals with the virus in recent months, but only 32 of them were vaccinated, official data from March shows. Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Today programme Professor Calum Semple, one of the scientists advising the government on COVID-19, said the results are "very good news". Prof Semple said researchers looked "very carefully" at the hospital records of the 74,000 people in the data sample. They worked out that 43,000 had been admitted after vaccinations started. Within that number just under 2,000 people that had received a jab. They then looked at how many days there were between receiving the vaccine and the onset of their symptoms. Prof Semple said: "Most people admitted had caught their infection within a week on either side of vaccination and then there was a really sharp drop off in numbers, so that, after three weeks after being vaccinated, we could only count 32 people out of the 2,000 that had been vaccinated.” Now that is impressive. Here’s one from USA I previously posted but shows only 5800 infections in 77m vaccinated people https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1264186

Well there’s only 2 households involved so if 3 from fire station obviously 2 at least must be related
