Jersey has loads of local restrictions. They are basically where the uk is moving to from 17 May.

People can come and go. Far more important than a few local restrictions imo
Apple
Why do Specsavers still insist in wanting personal details of who goes in their shop but people can walk about freely in Nobles without having to leave their name at the front desk. Both need make and sanitiser. Isn't that enough ?

Got asked to provide contact details at a restaurant at weekend, first time, we’d already ordered drinks & started them before they asked!! thommo2010
I've booked to go the UK in October, 4th time I've had to rearrange it I'm actually confident that it will go ahead this time.

There is a genuine realisation amongst the Covid Emergency Planning Group (whatever the **** that is & whoever the **** they are) that our isolation requirements are not keeping pace with the rapidly improved U.K. situation. Expect a run on candles & tins of corned beef Friday when our friends amongst us here learn they’ll soon be mixing with disease riddled come overs.

trmpton
Wonder how many of those who want to keep us locked up for their own perceived protection are overweight, and/or smoke, or do any meaningful exercise? There are many ways someone can take responsibility for themselves rather than expecting others to make sacrifices on their behalf. I had an interesting conversation with someone yesterday. He had a mask around his neck, and is apparently lobbying Howard to keep an elimination strategy (good luck) as he fears for his and his families health. He was leaning against the wall of The Creek, out of breath, fag in hand, at least 5 stone over weight.
