IOM Covid removing restrictions

As usual the UK propaganda machine in full swing as they try and cover up Boris's again shutting the stable door after the horse's bolted cockup.

Be interesting to see how they spin it if his much vaunted June date slips.

Come again?

Even though their infection rates were half that of India both Pakistan and Bangladesh were put on the Red List on the 9th April. India went on the list on the 23rd April.

During those two weeks some 20k folks travelled from India to the UK some carrying the virus.

Just another poor decision to add to these:

In the run-up to the pandemic fve missed Cobra meetings, the massacre in care homes, a failure to take the pandemic seriously at the start, the lack of PPE, contracts to Tory donors with no track record in delivering health supplies, the abject failure of Dido Harding’s track and trace, the supremely idiotic "Eat out to help out" that helped to spread the virus and being too late to introduce lockdowns on three separate occasions causing tens of thousands of avoidable fatalities.

They had weeks to prepare and they frittered them away.

Plus I suspect the countries you mention did not seed the virus into care homes by putting those leaving hospital into care homes without testing them.

Just another lethal fuck-up to add to the list...
