Once this is over I suspect it will be a while before we see international travel back to any sort of normality Just think yourself lucky that ISIS took pity on us and gave us 18 months off. We should have at least played them at football and exchanged sugar, tights etc
Nom de plume
As we enter the second summer of Covid, some eighteen or so months into the 'pandemic', I still shake my head and despair that the Mainstream Media are not challenged over their reporting of the situation. The fear narrative continues. Millions still don't understand the reporting & are left cowering in their homes. A case doesn't mean someone is ill, it is someone that has returned a positive result (the result itself could be ambiguous). Even Covid hospital admissions are reported in a way that suggests the virus has put them there, not the % that are tested prior to or during admission for other ailments. It stinks, all of it. 4

Everybody thought 'Project Fear' during Brexit was a myth, this now basically 'Project Fear 2 - The Return', they want us locked on the islands keeping our money on the islands. Agree 100% with this. Nowhere can you find the information that vaccination significantly reduces transmission anywhere. I'm sick of seeing comments "but vaccination doesn't stop you getting it or passing it on'. It does - not 100% but enough for most people. It's fear fear fear all the way with the MSM. Except for rags like the Blackshirt Bugle which tends to demand an end to lockdown, but then prints headlines screaming of 'deadly mutant' strains. At home, I've stopped listening to the BBC because of crap like 'are you worried about socialising again?'. If people want facts about what happens in a population with a high % vaccinated, look at the data coming out of Israel!

They are trying to stop the masses leaving as the EU is not in the same position as the UK at the moment. Seems sensible at the moment. The Portugal situation has been badly handled. I think we will see movement into EU by mid July. Depends how you look at it. Boris can declare a few eu countries as green, that foes not mean they will reciprocate. snowman
They are stopping people leaving the UK in order to boost the UK economy and claim double digit growth. Estimate 2 million accomodation beds in UK which is clearly insufficient. Zero deaths in Malta a few days ago. No reason for Portugal and Malta to be anything other then green
