From reading the news report on the Nations Propaganda Mouthpiece this morning, I get the impression that the Cabinet Office were involved in part with this. Like the Department of Incompetence, the Cabinet Office is a another monolithic and a leviathan of a department. They are as guilty as HRH The Chief Minister. HRH The Chief Minister is thickest leader of the all so their is an element of stupidity and mitigation for his actions - sub normal mentality, and over privileged lifestyle. In an ideal world Heads should roll, HRH The Chief Minister is going thank fcuk, but the chimps in the Cabinet Office need putting in the zoo. I would suggest Beamans do a report into the Cabinet Office but it’s likely they will say it’s understaffed, and needs loads of qualified project managers. What got me about it was this in the Manx Radio piece: In a statement from the Cabinet Office it says it contacted Hospice Isle of Man to find out whether the chief minister could still attend. The charity replied that he could, and carried out a risk assessment, and put in place "a number of measures to protect patients and on-duty care staff". So it's not even that they forgot or were careless - they asked for it. If you don't then expect the consequences. (not exactly rocket science is it ?) CM misjudged the risks and the impact of what he was portraying. Albert is spot on.
