All English high streets are waiting to be pulled down too. High street retail of that kind is over. But the IOM is basically much more like Cornwall - but with good internet connectivity and a relatively much more successful economy. And without having to put up with millions of tourists every weekend, thank goodness. Let's keep it like that. These days the island is excellent and getting better.
