Friends? ❤️ Well, I couldn't really be bothered typing the rationale for my thoughts on that, other than as you've said - not enough real world research or results. Hey, it was you swearing, calling me thick and WRITING IN BOLD CAPITALS

Hey, it was you swearing, calling me thick and WRITING IN BOLD CAPITALS Well theres NO NEED TO BE LIKE THAT. I had not had my morning billy and 473ml of Red Bull by that point, so of course I was going to be slightly agitated.

Do you understand the enormous difference between a drug and a vaccine? Yes I am very aware of the difference. I actually have a degree in Biology. It's more the fact that Thalidimide was totally fine for everyone and had a some remarkable results (recently discovered to have more treatment options) it only came to light it wasn't fine for pregnant mothers when it was far far too late. 1mg of something that is unlikely to harm me as a 90kg healthy male is a very different ball game to an embryo that weighs a few grams. It might be stopped by the placental barrier, but frankly I've seen no research on that front. Edited August 6, 2021 by The Phantom
monasqueen
The problems related to pregnancy seem to be more on the lines of the need to arrange for "preterm delivery". There's a recent article in the Irish Times giving the Irish angle.

Then again can't expect much more from a Ramsey lad 😘 Irony is sweet.

Out of curiosity, did you end up having it? Or can you not tell us as it's identifiable information. I’m a proud member of the Oxford AZ double jab club & have been off Island three times enjoying the benefits of my fruits. These anti-vaxers need a massive slap.

Do you think it's worrying with the recent approach on Social Media directed from Director of Public Health and Midwives to categorically state how beneficial it is regardless of the fact there's a significant lack of real-world research around the implications? Thalidamide was a seriously tragic state of affairs. And absolutely can understand pregnant women taking the approach . Thalidamide was not a vaccine Furthermore, medical science has evolved since then. As has regulation
