Not an ounce of intelligence or a single independent thought between the two of them.

We would continue barrelling down the current route faster and faster towards financial armageddon.

Financial Armageddon?

All the evidence suggests we have a buoyant economy ( despite all the Covid stuff) Unemployment figures are very low and we seem to be doing OK despite the circumstances.

Be interested to hear your view of how we are barreling towards Dante’s Inferno.

This government has done a good job over the last few years

You must have a really shit life, indeed just be a really shit total loser to wish you could be David Ashford. People normally wish for good things.

Intelligent person. Guided nation through a pandemic. Holder of important position in national Government. Potential Chief Minister.

How does that compare with your achievements in life so far?

The very thought of him as CM should strike horror in the mind of any sane person!

If that happens my first reaction will be to leave the island, trouble being I don’t trust Boris either, I hope Boris gets the shove long before Ashford gets a leg up.

Yes, both seemingly treated appallingly by DHSC.

First we have to "do the dance" of undermining them, insinuations and remarks about poor performances, lack of abilities to work with others, question qualifications or experience, undermine reputations and actually get it into peoples heads they failed in their roles even before any legal or tribunal cases. (Might work out cheaper in the long run).  And that it was all their own doing !

The blame game has already started I hear and it doesn't come as any surprise now that suggests the smear campaigns are in active mode. No-one comes out of this well.

That is very worrying.  Who orchestrates this approach?

You see that's an interesting point: does anyone actually know what Ashford previously did before he became an MHK? Other than haunting the end of the bar in the Outback at night looking for virgin blood to drink that is.
