Much like the COVID itself which hasn’t really caused any major issues since we let it rip (I know vaccines, but people were still predicting the end of the world back in May/June) Turns out that in a largely vaccinated population it doesn’t warrant worrying about. Can we get rid of the rest of the stupid border restrictions now please? 2112 Posted September 22, 2021 Share Posted September 22, 2021 A story appeared on the Nations Propaganda Mouthpiece yesterday about a person who visited a healthcare facility on the island (presumably had been off island and returned), and was awaiting results of a PCR test. The person subsequently was diagnosed with COVID, naturally that person has been accused of putting lives at risk. If this was the case, why hasn’t the Police started to take action - at least isolation in Jurby? Or is this a fictional press release to scare, emote and keep this issue in the public mind? They were awaiting result from PCR, which came back positive. They also were allegedly untruthful on the Covid questionnaire. Many people were caught up and punished. Some quite rightly but some were very spurious and quite frankly could have been dealt with a word of advice. Even if someone were double vaccinated I don’t whether the regulations regarding non visitation of a healthcare setting (unless an emergency)for 10 days still applies, as it’s unclear? More people need to step forward & receive their vaccinations to at least attempt to mitigate transmission & we all have to accept this is now a part of our lives. A few of us here have been consistent throughout. Live with it & take your chances or hide yourself away but please do us a favour if so & stop crying like c***s all over Twitter regarding hidden figures & conspiracies.
