IOM Covid removing restrictions

The PCR test - is it giving false and unreliable information?

Perhaps it is time to look into this. It used to be the lockdown was to minimise deaths and to flatten the curve. Now it is all about positive tests.

As I understand the inventor of the PCR test did not think the test was any good as a diagnostic tool. (He won a Nobel prize)

The latest from Oxford’s Center for Evidence-Based Medicine also says it is prone to false positives:

5 September:

What can we conclude?

These studies provided limited data of variable quality that PCR results per se are unlikely to predict viral culture from human samples. Insufficient attention may have been paid how PCR results relate to disease. The relation with infectiousness is unclear and more data are needed on this.

If this is not understood, PCR results may lead to restrictions for large groups of people who do not present an infection risk. <<This

Propaganda says:

The latest figures from the CDC for US deaths FROM covid are now at 0.00003% (four zeros):

In only SIX PERCENT of deaths ascribed to covid was that the sole cause.

Very odd. And if I do not comply for my safety I will most likely get locked up.

Hopefully, that's the case.

That is the case. It was a good announcement and the CM clearly very quietly made a plea to the covid nutters not to go into overdrive against whoever this person is as they have been completely responsible and followed the rules as they were required to. No doubt now though Facebook will go into meltdown trying to out whoever it is and spread a whole pile of rumours and fake news about them. There was no real need to make that announcement as the risks are absolutely minimal - they’re just managing the stoopids who will feed off this.

If he really wants to address the nutters he should post on here

The rules still seem to allow people to "self-isolate" in households which are not self-isolating. That can't be sensible.

He explained the stats behind that.

risk is incredibly low.

Sounds like this person was a key worker due to return to work today, subject to a negative test.  Now fourteen more days islolation.

Doesn't need a Sunday morning press conference for that really does it?

Of course not! Issue a press release and the meedjah would print/read it word for word thereby cutting back on the £68k already spent to make the totally inept Quayle try and look like the statesman he certainly is not!

Yes 14 more days. But interesting that this person looks like they asked to be tested as they don’t test those in self isolation so there was clearly some reason to ask for test. Possibly work related as you say. Or maybe the Coronavirus Team knocked on their door or called them and asked them if they had any symptoms like they are supposed to and it was found that way?
