Wearing a mask is to protect others, that is its main point of their use.

Like a surgeon wears one to stop spreading their breath/ germs all over a patient they have cut open, not to stop themselves getting a bug from the patient.

The type of mask that protects you from others bugs is not what is generally worn in public or what surgeons wear

I really struggle to see why people cant understand this?

I think it was a joke

the peddlers of these claims also tell us the Earth is flat still.

Still? Are you saying that it used to be?

Was that 6,000 years ago when, according to the DUP, it was created?

I’m sat in the airport tonight to pick up my parents not one single member of staff has a mask any where near them…yet I’m sat with mine.  You have to wonder what’s the point..

good luck getting 9 and 10 year olds to wear masks in primary school as well

Speaking of school kids. Primary school today had all the doors and windows open. Kids were sat with their hats, coats and gloves on.

Why hasn't the department sorted out air conn / filtration? They've had since March 2020.

This isn't acceptable as we head into winter.

The kids are going to be off with coughs and colds.

We can’t keep on doing this informal closing of businesses or affecting their trade without compensation. Government is responsible for making the decisions which result in worsened trade so should certainly be looking at putting its hand in its pocket again if this affects people.

Well they didnt for many sectors previously so doubt there going to do now. Have a friend whos business has been decimated by the Covid fallout, no TT etc. help is very selective and it would seem theres favourite occupations etc. CS and MHK's wont be doing badly out of it all. Ohh Tim Crookal is whinging but he's got his 65k to soften the blow .
