I agree it’s a step too far, what happens if offenders have no money. Do they stay in prison indefinitely?

Passengers permitted to travel from a Red Zone country must present both a Vaccination Certificate or a Certificate of Recovery from COVID AND a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours of travel on entry. A negative antigen test is not accepted for entry from Red Zone countries.

Incidentally 'we' changed tack last Christmas to increase isolation measures.  Or were you thinking of the UK government, that managed to have so many people avoidably die last Winter?

Hm...ok, seems still red. But it was removed from the red list recently. Added again maybe? Anyroads, same show as last time. Staff take a glance at the screenshots on your phone and as long as it looks genuine you get waved through. Or maybe it’s my pleasing German personality that makes it easier. Dude in front of me had to fill in some long form and answer loads of questions.

Banker if they have no money they probably do the same as the Isle of Man Courts do deduct it from their benefits, that seems to be the result in most of the court case listings over here.

The actual measures that are being proposed in Austria don't seem to be quite as draconian as Amadeus reports.  They're not published properly till tomorrow and I suspect there's a certain amount of advance exaggeration going on for political reasons in the country. 

There's still a lot of questions over whether such restrictions are justified, given that the main benefit of vaccination is (and always has been) to protect the person vaccinated and the effect on transmission is less important.

There are still people who want that to happen here. They may be less noticeable now but there's definitely a current of thought.

There’s a surprising number of anti vaxxers in Isle of Man, everyday when covid numbers or vaccinations published the same people are all over social media saying it’s fake news, vaccinations spread disease , mu kids aren’t wearing mask etc etc.

Interesting that Isle of Man Transport appear to enforce masks on buses but not on their trains/trams.

there probably isn't that many, but the ones there are loud and as all 'anti's' seem to think every man and his dog need to hear about it and it adds fuel into the 'everyone look at me' that exists now with social media.

In France, you can't go to state school without being vaccinated. This has been the case there for years.

The bus is a way of getting g from a to b.

The trains and tram are a jolly day out, not essential public transport

There's a very well defined line between vaccination as part of daily life (such as you highlight with schools in France) and the totalitarianism being shown by Australia and New Zealand.
