From what I hear that is more to do with a lack of staff and particularly anesthetists than anything else, but let’s blame it all on COVID again anyway.

If you were correct day cases would be equally hit!

There will be a finely honed plan in place.  Someone will have pushed the button tonight and in the morning we will get an announcement that the plan is kicking in and we will all be boosted by year end to give race of mind to those who want it.

Or, we will hear in a few days that we might have a plan in place to maybe do an extra 20 people a day and so everyone over 42 and three quarters will be “offered” a booster by Mid january

Online bookings are currently showing 4th and 5th January with short notice stand-by appointments also available.
