The NPM this morning reporting Hooperman saying the vaccination program is going at full speed copying the UK in getting jabs into arms aiming for New Year to give a fair amount of the population. It will be a real challenge here, the island will need to be operating 24/7, weekends and Christmas Day. Yes the challenge could be met. If Ashford was still Health Minister then I would say that every excuse and obstacle would be used as not to get this target achieved.

The best thing about the current variant is the absence of Ashford pretending to be a health expert and sucking on Quayle’s backside. Both actions were equally appalling. Ashford is very quiet. I can only assume he is busy reading Big Sums for Dummies in order that he can emerge as an Economics Expert to lead us out of debt towards fiscal security and his Knighthood.

You need to get a life and stop subjecting the Twitter-sphere to your daily embarrasing wailing and crying. Its pathetic. Advertising to the world at large what a trouser fiilling covid mental case you are. As for claiming its your first post in this thread pull the other one. So much mirror bleating above to the tired crap you constantly disseminate elsewhere. You must think people are as daft as you.

You do know that you can mute or block other people on Twitter, don't you?

You're coming across as a petulant child who whines about being wet after refusing to wear the raincoat mummy told him to wear.

All this speculation about speculation . Just chill guys , nothing we can discuss or think about is changing the scenario . Some people need to get a life and when they do try to enjoy it and stop spreading doom and despair. I've had a nice day today , met a friend for xmas lunch in Jaks and Covid wasn't mentioned once . Tomorrow is going to be the same hopefully.

Don’t you want to try somewhere different for a change?

Who cares what you think either? Its about time that wailing embarrasing biff was told what a clown 90% of the IOM think he is after being subjected to the trouser filling drivel he fills Twitter with daily. Even the Chief Minister isn't listening to the doomsters anymore and frankly they're embarrasing themselves on a daily basis Tweeting their constant fear and paranoia. Most people are just laughing.

He block you on Twitter and it annoyed you?

This is the sort of news we need... real world examples.

A study has found:

  • Omicron is less severe than Covid delta variant
  • Two vaccine jabs give good protection

I think he got a telling off from John Wright last night and has reinvented itself to cut down on his daily post count.

Stranger things have been known to have happened

If that is aimed at me you are very wrong.

I do however approve of the use of “biff” although maybe not in the context of Gloverlovers posts.

The H rate of 0.4% for Omi, I am just going off SA data: The cases are what you can get a very good handle on, the H rate is estimated. But people naturally want to know peak bed occupancy for planning, so included this. UK PH already put out models with H rates of 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5%; which I think is too high.

I quoted this Doctor from S Africa two weeks ago.

There are now 2 more weeks additional data.

Why won’t some people listen to her?

Was just reading this too.

In a nutshell....

26% of Saffas vaxxed

Covid's become a UK neurosis

Yesterday there were 11 Covid-related deaths in SA.  Peak of the Delta outbreak was 578 weekly average

It is good news. It would seem though, that it's the Pfizer jab that has some effectiveness, while the AZ doesn't. Good news on that front is that the booster makes up for the shortfall.
