T cells.  It's becoming clearer that antibodies are not the main immune modality at work here.  T memory cells, cross reacting with other coronavirus infections are probably why some people (80% or so according to that video, but a figure I've seen before too) either don't get covid or don't get ill with it.  These hang around much longer, and are ready to spring into action even if most of the antibodies have gone.

Do you know if the ADA genes -

https://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/gene/ADA2

Or the Lua allele  -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lutheran_antigen_system

 - play any role in the people who don't get or get ill with covid?

Or if bloodtype a factor? -

You’ve been here 5 minutes and caused more aggro than most do in 5 years.

But less than you who also seems to be a dedicated troll on this forum. The same as Neil Down. I’m not sure many are that interested to hear anything that either of you post to be honest. It’s like listening to mental people talking rubbish.

I suspect, in years to come, we will be looking back at this period and wondering how such a frenzy was whipped up and perpetuated by the media and how Governments around the world managed to get pulled into a strategy of "defeating" a virus with such crippling and ineffective results. Maybe it will be used as a learning example of how not to react to a problem.

In that scenario it would be the Governments whipping up the frenzy in the first place via the media.

Media = public frenzy = populist government reaction = media reaction = bigger public frenzy ad infinitum, I think?

Dilligaf, MF echo chamber since 2010. Never seems to have said anything of relevance. Prone to crazy outbursts and random idiotic statements. Seldom seems to post anything of relevance to grown up sentient people.

Of which you almost definitely are not one
