The Post offices are struggling right now. Hours are having to be cut right back just in order to keep them open. Small spaces, lack of ventilation - no staff.

Unsurprisingly it hits the public sector first as everyone fancies a week off. Here’s a Whatapp picture of that positive LFT I took in 2020. See you next week. The IOM Bank is still open though and usually that’s shut within 5 minutes of Covid headlines.

Unsurprisingly, YET ANOTHER MF poster completely ignoring or unaware of the facts.

Post Office counters in IOM are sub post offices. They're aren't public sector.

Think if anyone checked lots in public sector are on 2nd or 3rd week off with Covid!

It’s funny that almost everyone I know who claims to have had covid more than once works in the public sector. I had to wait over two years to catch it once. I know a postman who has now had it at least 3 times. He must be spectacularly unlucky!

This was the most bizarre thing to read and brought back some hidden memories. His number two side kick's name escapes me also, but I remember the exact scene you describe. Around that time I 'took' 35K from his side kick at the Dragonara Casino one night.

You do seem to have been around a bit. Leather suits, gambling in international casinos against MI5 spies. It is all very Avengers/James Bond -esque. You should write your life story -  Laxey Lady Lays it on the Line (alliteration is always good for sales). It could be turned into a Hollywood film starring someone famous.

Jings, no - you need plain loaf for that, I’m sure it was designed for the job.   Pan loaf is posh - hence speaking “awfy pan-loafy” - and the wrong shape.

You’re are no doubt right , not being a weegie myself I get confused. I just visit , then leave PDQ.

Partick fans would insist on sourdough pan loaf however.  And the square sausage being only made from designated farm, rare breed gristle.

Clearly you’ve never been to Firhill Stadium lol. Although they do a good mutton pie but you need strong teeth. Queens Park fans maybe as they might be posh. I don’t know as I’ve never met one nor do I know anyone who has.

The Police have already done a song about her, and I have heard there may be a stage musical in The offing!

I’m beginning to think that you’re making this up as you go along…no-one has ever supported Queen's Park!
