They only changed it for new entrants about 4 years ago , 3 + 3 I think but the existing civil servants refused to accept any changes as they expect it
WTF
what sticks with me over the covid bollocks is that the steam packet staff that were found to breaking the law didn't get prosecuted because howard said words to the effect that they didn't do it maliciously or intentionally or some such placating bullshitery but woman filling car with fuel went to jail , i very much doubt she was filling up with fuel with malicious intent either but you can't unring that bell , if ever there were double standards that was it. Recently reported meat plant that staff worked only 75% of their hours!! Sorry to be the bearer of truth but a quick google search reveals depending on length of service teachers get between 25 and 100 days full pay sickness followed by between 25 and 100 days half pay. Big difference between less than 1 month and 6 months

Apple
The planned inquiry into how the island dealt with Covid is going to rake over all that stuff about Ranson and Rachel I guess. Probably leaves David Ashford still sitting on the naughty step for a little bit longer...

This may or may not have been passed from the Steam Packet admin team to the seafarers, it depends who you ask. No way a prosecution would have stuck. Utah 01
Good. The worm is turning; time for another revolution in the PRC? Meanwhile, latest stats from the US show that CV deaths (always a moveable statistic at the height of the hysteria) are now more prevalent in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated. From the Washington Post, Biden's and the Dems leading fan club so it must be true! https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/11/23/vaccinated-people-now-make-up-majority-covid-deaths/ Edited November 27, 2022 by Utah 01

It’s obvious that if more people are vaccinated than not, that more deaths will be in vaccinated people than unvaccinated. Just as there are more road traffic deaths in the vaccinated than unvaccinated. It’s the relative risk that’s the important figure.
