IOM Covid removing restrictions

Back at the height of our pandemic the one person I know who had tested positive with mild symptoms stayed in a separate bedroom at home, and the bathroom and kitchen were thoroughly disinfected after each use. it is possible to do it conscientiously.

Having worked with his wife for over 30 years I know what she's like. People at work were always complains that the phones and calculators were always smelling of disinfectant.

ITV news this morning reporting that Houses of Commons will not have to adhere to 10pm curfew.

Apparently not now, claims the BBC news. That was another quick turnaround. Phew!

Of the few people I know, 100% of those isolating are doing it thoroughly and carefully. Anecdotes eh?

Well if you don’t share a house it’s easy, we’re self isolating at present but as only us in house it’s easy with Tesco & Iom creamery delivering.

if test on Friday negative then can get out walking & shopping for essentials.

They were talking about it on TV this morning. The person said that of the 42,000 who died, only 309 were under 60 and without pre existing medical conditions.

309 that had Covid in the 28 days preceding their demise. That statistic alone is mind blowing.

The issue is about choice. All the analysis and modelling and science etc needs to be aired in public and let everyone choose the decisions they have to make for themselves. Too many decisions being made behind closed doors and then skulking away and staying quiet when it gets a bit contraversial. Hmmmm.

The HoC will be debating whether the Bozo/Cummings etc cabal can carry on making up policy on the hoof or should it be the MP's in the HoC  doing it.

Tynwald should also be debating whether Howie & ashie can carry on doing the same thing so we can see why he’s making these decisions

1,000,000% needs a Keys debate & public transparency.

Approaching 8 months of decisions being made under the cover of darkness.

The CM always states the decision has been taken by the Council of Ministers.   They have done a brilliant job so far as most sane people will agree.

Well ... as we'll never see the minutes on who is saying what & who is advising & what that advice is nobody can judge whether they've done a brilliant job or not.

If you mean they've kept Covid out then yes, stirling work.

If you think keeping the Island with restricted access for as long as it takes is good policy then others might say it's horrific.

The whole of Comin makes the decisions not just the Chief Minister and the Health Minister and so far they have been spot on.

Howie has a majority with his mates on Comin and not everyone agrees with you.
could say UK cabinet makes decisions as well so why does Boris need more scrutiny?

Howie & ashie need close questioning from Tynwald particularly Thomas
