He didn't. There's a reason for that. Which is?

Yes definitely nothing to do with lockdowns that have kept millions of people off the high street for 6 months. Just waiting for all the covid-clowns to come out in force denying this won’t affect jobs either. That couldn’t possibly happen in this wonderful reality altering bubble we live in could it? Job losses are a real world thing. Not for the likes of the IOM with its Captain America Covid shield!

I'd wager that the current situation here makes the group's overall position slightly better, but probably won't affect the outcome one way or the other. Nothing to do with borders this one but if parent folds they may have to follow, administrators may keep open & try & sell as going concern. Either way probably job losses in Iom

monasqueen
Going back a few comments... What's the point of having a traffic lights system for entry to the IOM when everybody arriving here has to come via a high risk area (apart from Guernsey)?

You can have as many traffic light systems as you like but when the areas folk are coming from enter the red zone then it's a no brainer.

Problem is we have no system, if we did have one and areas changed to red then we would know as Guernsey & Jersey residents do.Also when an area goes to green then again you know it’s changed I can do 7 days test or whatever it is, our system is Howie & Ashie decide with no input from medical experts Edited October 9, 2020 by Banker
monasqueen
What's the point? If we did have a "system", there would be no difference, because everybody comes in via a "red" area.
