Probably just a coincidence of timing. Also probably just Uni students returning.

Stop demonising students. Possibly, not probably. It’s still a very low proportion. Assuming they’re all home now.

I think that the highest proportion of positives during isolation belongs to the sub group of patient transfers. But we don’t blame them. Or jump to conclusions.

It’s people like you who make the Karen’s look good, so far you’ve blamed students, the jet skier and panicked about a change in a virus all in last hour!!

I wasn't. It's about time for them to be coming home in dribs and drabs from places with lots of infections.

Any coming home for Christmas would be home by Wednesday last week.

You were demonising by using the word probably, when you hadn’t a clue.

There are more non students travelling every week than students, who travelled over a two week period in any event.

I.e. put a link up/a news item.

You make a lot of presumptions for a banker.

New strains emerge all the time.  The cynic in me thought that in the NE and Merseyside the government were demonising the people for going out and partying too much, but when it happens in the Home Counties there's suddenly a new strain that's responsible for an uptick in infection.

The cynic in you is alive and well in the rest of us too...  Or it should be.
