Just FWIW I'm in a relatively affluent retirement part of Cornwall - we're a big employer of builders, gardeners, carpenters etc. Every house that's bought gets a renovation whether needed or not. I’ve had three in total, one in Spain €135, one in England £289 and one at the Grandstand £25. With a second due at the grandstand next week. Not painful. Mildly uncomfortable. They will in the not too distant future be looking for an estate to be wound up and pored over. Athol Street* like those sort of people. *Other streets are available but the tag remains.
