They also only count exposure as 15 minutes or more, so it’s highly likely they did go to other places over 3 days but it won’t count. I wholeheartedly agree. They should’ve been testing arrivals as soon as it was feasible. Which arguably was when on island testing was available. Of course, if we had on-island genomics, it wouldn’t take DAYS to find out if this was the new strain. @rachomics what’s the approximate false positive/negative rate on the tests they’re now liable to be using over here?
