Only those arriving after 00.01 on 23/12

Thanks, can’t believe why not.

If we had been testing on arrival we would have picked up more cases, probably not this one and the only reason we haven’t been is so Howie & Ashie can crow about how wonderful they’ve done in keeping cases down

Of course, if we had on-island genomics, it wouldn’t take DAYS to find out if this was the new strain.

If only, as someone else said, we had that knowledge on island and how even more pleasing if they had their specialist education funded by the IOM Govt.  Now, that would be very pleasing and a valuable return on the investment by our Dept of Ed.

If it was me who contracted the coronvirus and had been out and about in the community,

I would let the manx media circulate a photo of me.

this would be the best form of track and trace.

Why does everything seem so secretive ?

What would be the point of that other than starting a witch hunt?

I was in 1886 last night.  Other than the people I was with and maybe the bouncers and bar staff I wouldn't recognise anyone else in there from a photo

Have you seen some of the pitch fork brigade on Facebook? That alone is reason enough not to identify these people

Because if some idiot lost his job because of 'you' spreading it...you'd be guaranteed to have your lights punched out. There are numerous vigilante type idiots here that would do just that...and worse.

Out of interest, what is the capacity of 1886, less than a party in Jersey?

The toilets in 1886 are where it would be most likely to spread. Even washing hands numerous people are touching the same door handles, and taps and brushing past each other to get there. Nevermind the bars where people stand to wait to be served, and busy bar staff likely don't always wash hands inbetween serving customers - handling glasses that go straight to mouth. Much higher probability of contagion than the likes of a chippy.

At our xmas do I shook around at least 20 hands and was embraced at least half a dozen times. People don't generally go to such venues to stand isolated in a corner.
