wrighty
Good call. Let’s hope the pubs etc implement immediately rather than wait until midnight tomorrow (which I think is a legal requirement rather than ministerial dithering) 4
Banker
Are the face masks required during exercise as can't really when running etc?
TheTeapot
What was the point of their response plan then, seeing as they've ignored it?

The Gov couldn't win here, can't do right or wrong. I sympathise with that, but you're right. It shows the plans are a waste of time and there is no cahones in Gov. Another reason to believe we won't see borders open by Christmas. Edited January 5, 2021 by jaymann

Required where you're near crowds of people were the words they used.

It's not very clear what the legal requirements are but seems definitely inside, can't see much point outside with wife and 2m from everyone else! jaymann
I still believe this a massive overreaction to an issue the Government caused. Local measures, yes. Previously I believed they were happy keeping borders shut because the local economy was booming on the inside, through local spending being massively up. Now they're throwing real pain at many many businesses once more.

TheTeapot
There must be behind the scenes significant concern that there are many more cases in development, theres no way they'd put in a lockdown for 10 surely? It just seems like an act of self harm at those levels.
