Major Rushen
Isolate for 14 days, develop COVID before 14 days are up. Don’t feel too bad it is just a cold can’t miss a good night out, go out have great time, oh oh Don’t feel too good must phone 111 and get tested. ... is that the scenario? 1
Gladys
It seems a reason for off-island genomics testing to identify if we have the new variant is so we can feed directly into the UK's surveillance. Not that Rachel is now beyond the pale and we have no benefit from getting that kind of information in a day or so.

Banker
There’s another briefing tomorrow so hopefully they will clarify things like face masks outside, visiting to provide care etc
TheTeapot
I don't see what needs clarifying. Stay in as much as you can, try not to get close to people, wear a snood. What's the fucking problem?

Total copout and likely driven by Public Health England if so, seeing as we delegate most of our thinking to that bastion of excellence in the health field.

I support the govt taking difficult decisions and doing their best to keep the community safe and protect the economy. I wouldn't want that responsibility. Nobody wants a lockdown but most people will absolutely agree that it's the right thing - that the govt has taken the right decision. Sick of people constantly moaning. 3
