Very strange, some of the staff are enjoying being at home & doing as little as possible so obviously trying all the tricks to stay there. all of a sudden they have discovered lots of vulnerable staff they didn’t have before, bit like the teachers, civil service and anywhere they get full pay!!!

Firstly that is bullshit. Secondly, even if they were it wouldn't stop them working and freeing up others. It isn't staffing that is the issue. It will be horrific red tape being imposed on the boss who won't have the scrotum to stand up to it.

Max Power
MNH are opening, reduced hours, despite all their staff having been 'redeployed' elsewhere doing non jobs. Now they can come back on full pay for less hours while those in the many private sector jobs are scratching a living. http://www.iomtoday.co.im/article.cfm?id=56460&headline=More%20MNH%20sites%20to%20open%20this%20weekend§ionIs=NEWS&searchyear=2020

After all most of their sites are seasonal, opening mainly for tourists, and with none of those, income will be down and they will need to trim costs. [1] Given that many of them are retirees anyway, some of their regulars might also be unwilling to work public-facing jobs for health reasons. Even stranger when you consider that the Ramsey and Castletown branches don't seem to be similarly afflicted. Port Erin branch under question as well, isn't it?
