In my old job, you use every asset you have in dealing with an emergency. The front of the operations manuals and emergency checklist used to say words to the effect of ' The Commander may deviate from the procedures outlined in this manual to ensure a satisfactory outcome'.
Annoymouse
I think in the not to distant future we’ll be hearing a lot of ‘in hindsight’ and ‘on reflection’, looks like the chuckle brothers are back on today.
Nom de plume
I read a poll on Facebook whereby the majority of respondents deemed the IOM Govts handling of the pandemic to be excellent. Just saying.

The defense, which was somewhat valid, was that they'd allowed us to live a fairly normal life at the cost of some border restrictions. Though, quite how many brain cells it takes to figure a plan of 'raise the drawbridge' is questionable.

Failing to adhere to the basic principles of hands face and space will. We don't even have the excuse of lockdown fatigue here to use an 'excuse' for non compliance with these basics. Lets keep the focus on whats important rather than criticising those who pose no risk to the rest of us. Well whatever, rumours of tight restrictions to be announced today following the Marine Drive incident and the flocking of people to various spots for exercise.
