IOM Covid removing restrictions

So here is a question.

Given most of us don't actually know 100% if we have COVID or not, shouldn't we all be behaving as if we do until we can be certain?

Pretty sure the people who have tested positive recently were happily in shops buying groceries etc up until their tests.

I assume those here and on social media who NEED exercise and bread and milk would accept that they had to chage their behaviour on receipt of a positive test so why isn't the clear message from government to all behave as if we have it for 14 days and then see where we are.

Just chucking this one, for which I was mocked, back out there for anyone who had listened to the briefing

Strongly advising face coverings in schools, and reassessing who should come to hub schools. Masks for primary schools are allowed now too

Garden centres are closing, along with hardware and building suppliers to the general public.

Don't go shopping for non-essentials etc.

They should have never been open anyway . Not essential in any shape or form

The thing to take from this conference is that they know that, although aren't saying the words, its more widespread than they thought.

HQ and DA both sound stressed.

Probably stressed knowing they voted against our biggest defence against these clusters: testing during isolation.

Well whatever, rumours of tight restrictions to be announced today following the Marine Drive incident and the flocking of people to various spots for exercise.

Seems we've dodged that. For now at least, individual responsibility is being considered as the best way forward.

Nobody mocked you, Infact most people agreed with you but you failed to understand that the majority of people are idiots, that is why they have to put restrictions in place because people can’t be trusted to use their common sense, common sense as it turns out isn’t all that common.
