I don't actually care what the actual truth of it is. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-47130945 "A relaxation of the law in England, Wales and Scotland in November last year, which allows consultants to prescribe the drug for a limited number of conditions, also applies in the Isle of Man." quilp
Ta for that, I wonder did it make any difference in local sentencing.
Barlow
47 minutes ago, Roger Mexico said: It's a bit like the government website page on drugs: People use drugs for a variety of reasons. Young people often use drugs for the same reasons that adults do. Some of these include: To have fun To relax and forget problems To gain confidence To socialise Out of curiosity As a form of escapism To lessen inhibitions To remove personal responsibility for decisions To celebrate or commiserate To relieve boredom and stress Self-medication to cope with problems. Friends, parents, older brothers and sisters and the media can also have some influence over a young person's decision to use drugs. After reading that - who wouldn't want to? That last sentence should have its own bullet point. The 'peer pressure' to take drugs is significant and is not quite as potentially positive as some of the others, as your final words suggest.
Annoymouse
Growing it outdoors will allow a poly tunnel though I assume? How can it be grown securely outdoors when someone can just break in and take half your crop? Growing inside warehouses makes far more sense, it will at least then be secure. Zarley
According to this court report, they've estimated the value of "ten pre-rolled joints" to be £300.00. Really? Thirty freaking quid each? Were they rolled in gold leaf? Were they the size of cigars? Or is it covid price gouging? Good grief! They also put a value on ketamine at 40-50 quid a gram, but I've no idea about ketamine. https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/court-hears-peel-man-found-with-two-parcels-of-drugs/

It is straight up impossible to smoke a whole one yourself in one go.

Still don’t think it’s worth the risk at those sort of margins personally.

Who'd have thought it? Thanks for that link, it's an interesting read. I'd been wondering if cannabis would be any use in combating covid inflammation but never got round to doing a search on it. If it was available from a licenced outlet I wouldn't have to see my way through 240mg of codeine and 4 grams of paracetamol, plus the occasional arse full of dreadful pharmaceutical anti-inflammatory suppositories per day. I'd be able to shit properly, wouldn't have the opiate haze and fairly constant nausea/stomach upset. A couple of grams of cannabis, infused in tea or coffee and all the above symptoms and the expected side-effects virtually disappear and I experience an increase in positive well-being making the daily grind a lot easier to handle. You cynics know fuck-all... 4 2
