Apple
Perchance they will need to get her back on board and quickly if they are going to start an island wide vaccinations programme? Also what about the notion of extra testing for the students returning? Or are we not bothering with that.
Twitch
2 hours ago, slinkydevil said: Lol https://michaeljosem.com/iom-health-minister-claims-to-have-destroyed-his-anonymous-letter/ The Department of Health and Social Care (the ‘Department’) can confirm that the Minister received the letter you refer on Thursday 29th October 2020. The letter was posted to Minister at his home address. When Minister receives any personal correspondence of this nature, to his home address, it is usual practice that this is destroyed… The Department can confirm that post briefing the original letter was destroyed by the Minister so therefore not held as defined under section 8(2) of the Freedom of Information Act (the ‘Act’) by the Minister and/or the Department.. Surely sent to his ‘constituency office’ address?

the stinking enigma
Usual practice is to destroy any letters sent to his home address. After first reading them out live in an address to the nation. Fair play to the guy, though he may regret setting that precedent. 3

I mean, just imagine if the good lady doctor decided to take this further and proof of said letter was to be presented to an official body. You’d think a minister would have thought that one through and filed it away somewhere very safe. Somewhere that wasn’t a shredder. But it wasn’t an official correspondence. It was a private letter. I support DA in this. Yes, I know it’s only me .
