The uk certainly seem concerned about the south african variant. I expect it makes no difference to us.

Are you for real?

So our borders stay shut for another 12 months

We can't go off island without 3 weeks isolation on return

No TT 2020

Yeah you are right. No difference

I'll rephrase that then. Everyone will want to wait for the Pfizer vaccine. As they one will actually be effective in stopping them being infected.

You won’t be given a choice. You’ll get what you’re offered. End of.

We may all be recalled in 6-12 months for top ups and additional that covers variants.

SA may be excluded from international travel for a while.

I know from my surgery, and my partner’s surgery, that they are providing over 75 and vulnerable persons contact info this week, for letters to go out next.

I was sort of meaning from a genomics sense. Remember?

I do remember, and understand, but you line can be interpreted many ways.

It doesn't make any difference in the status quo. It makes an enormous difference to any hope we had that there was light at the end of the tunnel.

The majority that really need it definitely will have been near a needle.   How do you work that out by the way?

There's lots of press reports of Boris coming under pressure from within his own ranks and from commerce & unions unless Sunak extends the furloughing and he (Sunak) is under pressure to reduce the creation of new money. As soon as economies start to recover the cost of borrowing will rise which in turn will create pressure on government to limit public spending.

Is it rubbish though? Surely if people have the AZ then they might (wrongly) believe that they have some protection that they don't actually have. This could lead to their death.

Unless they travel to South Africa they’re fine!
