Those who object loudly to any restriction on themselves always seem to be keenest for those on other people, for some reason.

I'm objecting to restrictions, loudly. I'm doing for myself, but also for you.

I say they should fuck off with a 3rd shot and get on with vaccinating the rest of the world. Here's an article that's made the BMJ that everyone should read.

Profiteering from vaccine inequity: a crime against humanity?

I do agree, but its not that simple. May countries are just not ready to do mass vaccination programmes. We should be helping them but at the moment there are plenty of doses so we should use them

Is this really a surprise? Most powerful industry on the planet, convicted multiple times of fraud, bribery and corruption, gets accused of racketeering. Knock me down with a feather.

I agree it's not simple, but one thing most countries in the world can manage is mass vaccination campaigns.  There have been loads of these over the last 60 years leading to the elimination of smallpox and diseases such as polio being reduced enormously.  The international structures already exist.

Yes I do agree. I should have explained better. I understand that pfifffzer is ear marked for boosters leaving the AZ and the others (which are more easily transportable and manageable in the field) for the less developed countries (like Aus/NZ:whistling:)

Isn't UK government now exporting more vaccine than it is using domestically (thought I read that somewhere)?
