Well, today, for the first time, they hit 1,000 vaccinations in one day. There’s no excuse now for not hitting 5,000-6,000 per week, every week.

What happens if they have staffing problems?   It happens.  That would be a reasonable excuse.

But 1000 in a day is great.  Another 8 weeks and a huge hole will have been made in the numbers.

To hit the target of everyone in the first cohort (44500) having a two doses by end of May, they need to do 712 a day (4984 per week) for 100% completion, from now.

If we assume that 90% take up is more realistic, it's 625 a day (4375 per week).

This is starting to look achievable.

When I’m vaccinated which will be May hopefully then hopefully allowed travel

I think after all the top nine groups have been vaccinated, the government will allow sponsored visits from the uk, with isolation. But I don't see unfettered, off island travel until September / October.
