Just to remind you all how pitiful we are doing.

Jersey received ANOTHER 3000 doses today alone.

Their need is greater than ours.

We keep boasting how we’re COVID free in the community. They have around 1,000 cases and are pretty well in lockdown, even though their CM won’t use that word.

Interesting JSY and GCI are getting more deliveries of these quantities.

Irrespective of need, I thought distribution was based on quantity of population? There is still a need to vaccinate our vulnerable and elderly. I guess they saw we're not bothering using ours till January and thought they'd send more to the CIs given they're proactively vaccinating people.

From what Ashie was saying last Thursday, they can only order 975 a week. First two weeks worth are for the first 975 people, to ensure batch numbers are the same for the second dose. Another 975 due this week and another 975 next week. That is the next 975 sorted. So at that rate, we will be vaccinating 975 people every two weeks. At that rate it will take about three years to vaccinate the entire population, other than children and exceptions.

Except Jersey had 3000 delivered so that’s 3 trays, not sure how many more Guernsey have had delivered but they’ve vaccinated 970 to date , so Ashie comments not quite correct again

Good job the Oxford jab will be licensed shortly. It’ll be done by Easter.
