Gladys Posted August 4, 2005 Share Posted August 4, 2005 I am an avid listener of MR: I don't apologise for that, but there are some wonderful gaffs that are worthy of the Private Eyes' Coleman Balls, here are a few:- Martin Quayle on the Hyerbaric Chamber "It assisted in my recovery immeasurably,... a bit" ! The oft heard appeal from the police for witnesses to "an event": "Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in back Strand Street" Yes, I saw a man threatingly spit on the pavement behind INDEX! And lets not miss the marketing Guru who came up with " Our new flagship the "Costa Fortuna" Well, you would take a cruise on that wouldn't you? Shall we try to have an amusing thread?
