They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids,>airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling. I posted it the matter for others to read and give their input, not to have anyone else denigrate others for their view. You could probably come up with a similar list for any nation which has had any external relationships/colonialist aspirations! (You could also come up with a list of great contributions for most nations - see Amadeus' post under 1905.) Can I suggest the time honoured tradtition of putting (not racist) complete with brackets on the end of things like this because that makes it better. Also, if you don't want people to think this lovely example of intolerance isn't penned by yourself, you might want to make reference to an original author or source. It's not the concept of profiling which is wrong, but the intent of those who want to use it for the wrong reasons but try telling that to a myopic luddite... Then what? Treat everyone the same? Might as well start now. That sweet looking old white lady smelling of lavender might very well have an history. EDIT: an example of why the (appeals to racists) email is a rubbish example of useful profiling (sic). Take the 1972 attack on the Israeli team at the Olympic games in the old West Germany. That was 33 years ago. 33 years before that it was 1939. So in 1972 - based on this crap method of profiling - should the world have profiled white Germans (the host nation) as a threat to the Israeli team?
