Funny but I'm not sure about the figures here.

Number of voters in Middle - 4,445

Number voting in Middle - 2,307

Number voting for Quayle - 1205

Percentage of vote  - 52% (1205 / 2,307)

Percentage of people who could have voted - 27%

Rather more than the 14% claimed in the video.

As opposed to government by the Seven Dwarfs? (Dwarves?)

Sadly "influence ', 'persuasion' and 'interference' are so problematic in western politics there are very serious concerns about what we routinely call democracy.

Some countries call it corruption.

The Island have adopted these 7 principles for everyone who works in any shape or form for Government as far as I know, but sometimes I am not sure it gets policed enough.

Chris C - 4445 people in Middle, 1205 voted for Quayle = 27% of the people who could have voted for Quayle, did.

Turnout rate for middle was 52%... so surely that means only 52% of the eligible voters in that constituency actually voted and Howard got 30% within the people that voted... but it sounds by the context of the video that it’s referring to the fact that it was only technically 13% of the entire voting population actually voted him in? That was my thought train when the stats were coming up but might be wrong

I suppose the 14% is derived from the fact that there are 8890 potential votes and he only got 1205.
