What a fat, self serving and attention seeking grandstanding pompous oaf he is. A simple statement to his official news outlet Manx Radio would have been suffice. Nooooooo a exclusive interview with ITV Granada. It’s nice to be able to have the trappings of the media at your disposal especially when it costs you nothing.

Official outlet, Manx Radio. How so?

Presumably ITV Granada were forced to interview him?

The media will make their own decisions on the importance they give to such things and give it the prominence they think is worthy. Would you expect the re-election of Andy  Burnham as mayor of Manchester to be hidden away in a couple of paragraphs on page seven of the Manchester Evening News?

To claim that HQ has the trappings of the UK media at his disposal is somewhat laughable.

”Fat, self serving and attention seeking grandstanding pompous oaf”.  Nice

I think history will be kinder to HQ than your vile, spiteful outpourings which certainly do not represent the views of the majority of the GMP

What have the greater Manchester police got to do with things?

Josh Stokes was given the interview because the Chief quite likes him.

Manx Radio were raging.

Well Maybe Manx Radio should look at the quality of their questioning at he COVID briefings, second only to Moulton in terms of stupidity. The CM probably thought (and who can blame him) that ITV was a more appropriate and credible platform to announce his position.

Politicians are egotistical oafs, but they are also ultra-competitive.

Do you remember when Big Al got a UK TV interview and disclosed that he was a Friend of Dorothy (which no one knew!!)?  This was after his departure.

So now Mr Toad has an interview before his departure to tell us nothing much at all.  He has done one better than Big Al - result.

Looking forward to the sycophantic farewell parade on Douglas Prom.

Or up Broadway, through the Villa Gardens and along Finch Road, then down Victoria Street, due to the roadworks.

All we heard on the news today was how we would have a new CM after the GE, following HQ's declaration to the GMP that he would not be standing.  I thought that was how GEs worked, so hardly news.

We also heard a class interview about the state of the pavements in Castletown with one old Manxie who talked about people falling on their aaaass. I hope the iMuseum get a copy for the benefit of future generations.

We also heard the words, "Skelly" and "President" in the same sentence.

Truly terrifying.

Mark is a bit marmite but I've always liked him and to his credit he has been consistently active on social media for the past 5 years about politics not just resurfacing as we get into the final stages before a GE

He's just another "Independent" that will join the COMIN Party on 24th September.

Hoping we get a Labour or Green Candidate down here.

Yes, HQ will back the loyal candidate from Comin - Skelly.  Jesus Christ, the sprinkles on the top of a knickerbocker legacy of crap.
