I feel they’ve gone back to the old fashioned sneaky cat and mouse game, but they’re so lazy they wait for the mouse to come to them, rather than make any effort to pounce.

Sneaky?  No need.  There's no shortage of local daft and stupid mice.

The police's customer service ethic cannot be faulted.  After all, they get a lot of repeat custom, so must be doing something right.

Their crime detection rates must also be up there with the very best.  Hardly a week goes by without some defence advocate claiming in the media that their client got caught the very first time they offended.  That's efficient policing in anyone's book.

They fell out of his luggage, Police went easy on him because they had the sense to stop and inform the Police rather than stop on a main highway and risk possible injury/death by trying to retrieve them. It can be quite tricky securing luggage to any bike, string can snap, bungee cords can stretch

Fair enough.

But why on earth didn’t the police explain that in their post instead of the stupid Prince Charming analogy which made them look ridiculous?

According to the NPM this morning reporting that there was another theft from the Grandstand. An e-bike has cycled away. Surely there must have been CCTV up within the.vicinity, so they can at least get footage? Sad state of affairs though in all honesty, and even sadder will be it’s statistical use within the crime figures to justify new laws.

Sadly seems to be rich pickings for the local scumbags, guess they get bored of breaking into our garages and nicking our kids bikes.

If they are caught it’s a slap on the wrist and a fine, with it being deducted from benefits. Who wins, not the person having suffered the crime!
