Dead policemen doesn’t bother you.

take it you never read the judgment on the dead spectators on the mountain? Maybe you should and while you at it try and make the connection.

Was that the police man in 1976 or has there been another?

For me it should end the day someone who hadn’t made a conscious decision to be anywhere near it is killed or injured.

Until then when it is people who have volunteered to expose themselves to that risk in return for the buzz they know it will give them it can carry on.

So if a bike went into a garden and killed someone who was just out watering their plants - then you'd agree it would be time for it to end?

A relative of mine was told he wasn't allowed in his own lounge during racing due to such a possibility!

Nope.

If it vaulted a house and got someone on the next street then yes.

So you view anyone within one 'block' of the course as collateral damage even if they have no interest in the TT or a desire to be involved with the event?

The BBC documentary will be interesting and if off the back of that sponsors start to pull out then that could be a game changer.

Whilst sponsors play a significant part, the ultimate arbiter for the TT will be the insurance companies that facilitate the meeting.  If their risk appetite is diminished then the end will swiftly follow.

I know of a dog blinded by a piece of exploding bike that had ‘vaulted’ a house. Dave Jeffries crash in Crosby. Would that count? If it had been a child not a dog would it have counted?
