AOR
This was linked previously, but well worth a browse for those of us at home today. It does beg the question as to why Mr RObertshaw didn't raise these questions when he was an MHK. But then I realise he did - when he was a newbie MHK. They quickly made him a Minister and stroked his ego and effectively stuffed his mouth with gold and lined his tongue with silver. Keep going Chris. You know where the bodies are buried and they need digging up and putting with the skeletons in the Government cupboard.
Andy Onchan
On 7/2/2022 at 5:01 PM, Omobono said: there wont be a debate , Robertshaw is no longer in Tynwald , and I can not believe that in 2022 its not possible to construct a sewage treatment works in lower Laxey to best EU standards and practice ,similar to 100's of small regional plants constructed all over Europe in the past few years , the cost of electricity of pumping the sewage to Baldrine up over the hill to be treated , and the clean effluent back to Laxey to be discharged out to sea in the bay will be astronomical , This is the politics of the mad house , and brought about by a minority of unqualified experts and pressure groups like PAG , the outrageous capital , and on going pumping costs cost to be born by the rest of the taxpayers what a bloody disgrace ! do we have any civil Engineers on Manx Forums ? There's a small cadre of opponents to the original Laxey plan, ironically one of whom is a business owner of a firm that frequently has contracts with IOMG for other contentious projects. But for this project he doesn't want it in his back yard.
