Can anyone post details of the alterations to the terminal that are coming soon?

It’s coming to Tynwald for approval in April according to Chris Thomas on Twitter, lots of changes/improvements in they can get funding. Apparently the independent review recommended corporatization but CT isn’t proposing that

I do not have a Facebook account, but it looks like you do. Maybe you could point the lady in question to the following post  and ask her if she has taken legal advice. Weeks ago I sent that image to both Curphey and Thomas in an email asking if the legal requirements were met - neither has responded....

Maybe @John Wright would know?

It seems you were wrong. The trolley bays are adjustable (and not every two weeks either).

Looks like someone needs to check their facts. The FOI reply claims the car park ones don’t need adjusting. Judge for yourself:

That's not quite what the FoI response says, which is that the trolley bays are being adjusted in-house, so there will be no identifiable extra cost (though clearly the FoI is wrong about at least some of the bays in the car park).  But there will be extra costs on the maintenance budget.

It's also quite revealing that no new ones had been purchased in the last ten years (or longer?), showing just how little regular maintenance or renewal or inspection there was in the day-to-day running of the Airport.  Even more revealingly in an interview with Paul Moulton last week, Chris Thomas said that the money to purchase the new trollies had come from the DfE as somehow promoting the Island.  Clearly getting the money out of the Treasury wasn't an option, they're only interested in stuff that will waste millions.

If DfE were involved then it's an open cheque book. Whatever they ask for they seem to get.

It could be worse they could have done no research at all and spent £100k plus ordering a handful of new eco friendly gas powered luggage carts for the luggage handlers and found that they couldn’t register them and then had to give them away.
