To be fair to Reynolds the acres of unused car parks weren't her daft idea, they came from her predecessor who was also responsible for the massive roundabouts that were needed to control the zillions of cars that would come to the Airport and then need parking. The idea was that the Manx would be so impressed that they would stop getting friends and relatives to drop them off for their flights and instead be happy to pay long term parking charges when they went on holiday. She has stuck to the development and spend mantra ever since she was appointed, and to be fair has been very good at it. Her bullshit around passenger numbers was a joy to behold, the one area forgotten is that what an airport actually needs is aeroplanes and strategic direction none of which we have ever had.
