We have been trying to see how to get to Inverness in September. Nightmare! Logan air seem to be only possibility giving enough time for changeover at Man Or B'ham but just don't trust they will still be around in September.

Once in Inverness we then have to get to Fort Augustus so timing is all.

Iom to inv  comes up on there via Gatwick. Not sure if the timings suit you though although the price will be more favourable.

I see Sleazy Jet are taking seats out so they need less staff

The news reports state that it is because Easyjet cannot find the number of qualified staff they need (because of the reduced numbers available due to covid), rather than that they *want* to operate with fewer cabin staff.

It's a smart move. Keep more schedules going by freeing up 1 crew member on each A319.

Shitshow with the fog again though.

All in all a crap day for all passengers coming to/from the Island by air today.

One of the penalties of the island and the airports position. Yes things can be improved but i suspect not to the extent of this   Current TAF

With 40% probability, temporarily from Sunday 19:00 till 22:00: Visibility 500m. Fog. Clouds broken 100ft.

As I've said numerous times before it's time to reconsider it's location.

Tomorrow

London City LM671 06:50 Cancelled

It's certainly not an aircraft tech issue. They had them both flying perfectly well tonight when they needed to.

But a Monday AM flight out to London City... sure that cancellation will go down well.
