IOM
Great to see Loganair has enhanced its Isle of Man team recruiting seven locals for maintenance of aircraft at Ronaldsway . How many local jobs do Easyjet provide?

Will this impact West Atlantic who used to provide line maintenance for Flybe and Stobart?

What I said is it’s great to see an airline providing a local maintenance team . To my knowledge EasyJet have nobody on the island . I recognise there is a balance of airline operators and a role for EasyJet but I just think having boots on the ground is good to see .

But having flown multiple easyjet and Loganair flights recently, easy are practically full and Loganair not. They need to figure out that providing a tunnocks and a sachet of water isn't worth paying 4x the price for.

Not sure which sectors you are flying but if it’s London then you will find that route is seriously under supplied and the only option is EasyJet. And I know EasyJet don’t provide refreshments but do you really think £360.00 for a return fare on some of their services is good value for money ? I don't particularly agree with paying some of the easyjet fares I've had to pay recently, especially to Gatters. But to the NW - however expensive - it's guaranteed to be cheaper than Loganair. In the past I always found Flybe gave easy a good level of competition in terms of the fares they charged. Maybe just maybe the EasyJet pricing into the north west is because they have competition and into London they don’t . Manchester now has three flights a day Loganair ( twice a day ) and EasyJet once a day . Will be interesting to see what happens there and how pricing will look in the future if flights were to be reduced .

Is this why Paul Clarkson has had to be brought back, or is it just the fact you can't leave this half wit in charge ?
flaps
Leaving him in charge is what's got the airport in the mess it is. While the Director was distracted with other Ports stuff, he's run amok with his schemes, spending, hiring, firing. It will be interesting to see how he gets on with the interim Director - he won't take no messing. Anyway, So now the Director job has been advertised, which forgotten reality TV nobody could join "Dr" Jez? How about Maureen from Driving School? Nasty Nick from Big Brother? Wagner from X-Factor?
