brother on Logan air from Liverpool which they’ve been told is still scheduled for 20.30 even though Iom to Liverpool cancelled so not sure what’s going on!,

Loganair website has flight status page.

Liverpool flight is boarding so a plane there, apparently 10 wheelchair patients so obviously pulled out all the stops!!

Fair play to Loganair. It's a good effort to operate MAN-LPL-IOM and, hopefully, get as many passengers as possible from the combined flights back to the Island tonight, and the planes in the right place for the morning.

Well they did sweet bugger all to get the patient transfers back from Manchester. People left with no medication, mobility issues stood round for an hour at a check in then waiting for taxis to hotels.

Just taxied at Liverpool, took a while to get ramp up & down for wheelchairs , about half passengers are patient transfers

Patients should take at least a couple of days medication with them.

Yes most would but you'd be surprised how many don't. Or spare clothes etc. At least at Liverpool they're more used to patient transfer.

Not knocking the support from the lady at Menzies who was a credit to them, sorting everyone's hotel, taxi there and back and re-booking to tomorrow's flight. With meal vouchers too. 10/10.

Guess it's operationally more important and more economical to get those people back tonight and put the < half full Manchester up for the night. I'm not complaining, the new Holiday Inn at Manchester is rather nice.

Just a shame for the handful of PT who probably would have liked to have been back tonight.
