Is it because they have an employment monopoly, ie there is only only one place here that ATCs, nurses, doctors, teachers, etc can work? Is it a poor HR support systems, poor management training, or no accountability? Do they do exit interviews and, if so, are they effective and are the reasons for leaving collated and analysed to indicate patterns? Didn't Alf promise a change when the Ranson matter hit the fan? Or, you have to ask, is it really 'bullying' or is it that people who are not very effective in their role don't like being 'performance managed' and having to deliver what they are being paid to do. 5

Says bullying at airport is dreadful. Says 4 other departmental managers have handed in notice. Says only 9 out of establishment figure of 16 ATC are in post and 3 of the 9 have given notice. If true the airport can’t operate with only 6. Cobb is known by the entire staff as Conn. Total shambles obviously 🙄

I’m well aware. That’s why I posted both explanations I’d been given and the comment about PT

That is another interpretation, but PM, if done right, should not be capable of being perceived as bullying. As soon as bullying is mentioned, there are two interpretations and as was shown in the recent apology, everyone seemed to claim it.
hissingsid
It is the same person who had her car auctioned I recognise the name. Why is she taking photos of other cars ? If they are overstaying the time limit they are obviously going to be ticketed and then treated as abandoned. By her own admission she had been sent warnings but the post had not been picked up for months. Abandoned vehicles are a big problem on the Island especially if they have been left on your property. Her case may seem extreme but what are you supposed to do if you warn people action will be taken and they ignore it.

Had a look at the place after she posted that picture with another car with multiple tickets. It’s in the long stay car park, out of tax and looks abandoned. Maybe if anyone know the owner give them a nudge?
Amadeus
Aside from that, I counted at least 25 cars with tickets on them. Surely they can’t all be freeloaders or dummies? The new parking solution there clearly isn’t working well.

swoopy2110
Flights all delayed and cancelled again today due to weather. "Upgraded" ILS working wonders. Instead of stupid vanity projects, upgrading the airport should be where they are spending money. To get better operational limits we need to replace the end of runway lighting gantry that was got rid of when RESA was done, and a GPS system, like Jersey. just 2
snowman
I think he wrote "upgraded" because he knew it wasn't an upgrade in the literal sense
