it may not be the best idea ever

You can say that again.

Its a legal requirement internationally and breaching it is a quick way to have even fewer ATC. The issue is EasyJet can’t run to schedule because the 30-minute turnarounds their schedule is built on is no longer sustainable. Ryanair and WizzAir are equally always late and for exactly the same reason.

i'm fully aware of that and as i mentioned before we could, could, set our own laws as we have our own ANO , it may not be the best idea ever but if the ATC's would go along with it the  we could improve things for the travelling public without waiting 2 or 3 years or paying through the nose and NOT break any laws..

Not sure we can set our own regs, or if we did no airline would fly here.

Loving the clock at the Amsterdam airport. But, no we do not need one to inrich the Ronaldsway experience

This is the sort of thing that our airport management think we need at Ronaldsway to solve the problems...let our delayed passengers while away their hours....

This is exactly the sort of thing easyJet operating at large airports are designed to encourage, more footfall, more airside shopping ! Of course that business model does not fit here and never will.

We could have our very own “World of spuds and herring” duty free shopping area where people could stock up on Manx Knobs and Ffynoderee gin before they go back to the UK. Alternatively given how empty Castletown is why don’t they just move the 5 shops that are still open up to Ronaldsway and make people drive up there to boost numbers?

That’s actually a decent shout. Anyone seen the sardine shop in Lisbon airport? It’s like Gores rock shop on LSD.
